March 12, 2026 — Douglas, Isle of Man The Isle of Man government and Business Isle of Man announced that the Isle of Man to host Spring Interceltic Business Forum for the first time, scheduled for Thursday, April 16, 2026, at the Villa Marina’s Royal Hall or Colonnade Suite following a venue expansion due to sold-out initial tickets.
The event aims to strengthen economic ties among business leaders, innovators, entrepreneurs, and policymakers from Celtic nations, including the Isle of Man, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Cornwall, Brittany, and Galicia. It provides a platform for sharing ideas and exploring commercial opportunities in key sectors.
Event Focus and Programme
The full-day programme features keynote speakers, panel discussions, and case studies on AI, regenerative tourism, maritime industries, sustainable finance, advanced manufacturing, and community/diaspora engagement. A spotlight on the Isle of Man’s engineering and manufacturing strengths highlights the Advanced Engineering and Manufacturing Strategy, including Albion Knitting Company’s relocation from London.
Speakers include representatives from the Scottish Business Network, Cornwall Council, Tramshed Tech, Irish Foreign and Commonwealth Office, and Lloyds Bank International. Post-event activities include factory tours for select delegates and an evening reception at Noa Market Hall with Manx produce and live music by Scran.
