Isle of Man to Host Spring Interceltic Business Forum for the First Time

March 12, 2026 — Douglas, Isle of Man The Isle of Man Government announced that the Isle of Man to host Spring Interceltic Business Forum for the first time, with the event set for Thursday, April 16, 2026, at the Royal Hall in the Villa Marina complex. Organized by Business Isle of Man, the forum will convene business leaders, entrepreneurs, and policymakers from Celtic nations—the Isle of Man, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Cornwall, Brittany, and Galicia—to foster economic collaboration.

The gathering aims to connect representatives, share ideas, and explore commercial opportunities across these regions. Initial tickets sold out, prompting a move to a larger venue to accommodate demand. The programme includes an evening reception featuring Manx produce, hospitality, and live music from local group Scran, plus optional next-day excursions highlighting the island’s landscape, culture, and business environment.

Key Topics and Speakers

Discussions will cover AI, regenerative tourism, maritime industries, sustainable finance, advanced manufacturing, and community and diaspora engagement. Panels and case studies will address technology, industrial policy, finance, tourism, supply chains, skills, and environmental considerations, aligning with the Isle of Man’s Advanced Engineering and Manufacturing Strategy and Action Plan.

Speakers hail from the Scottish Business Network, Cornwall Council, Tramshed Tech, Irish Foreign and Commonwealth Office, and Lloyds Bank International.
